Talking of snotty know-it-all interviewers getting their comeuppance, watch Piers Morgan reduced to absolute silence as he is schooled by Jeff Sachs on what actually went down in the Ukraine.

THIS is an object lesson in how to comprehensively take an interviewer apart leaving them no room to introduce their false reasoning.

Agreed. It was brilliant. Alerted to it by a Peter Hitchens tweet, who enjoyed it too

Excellent. Good to see Piers understood not to interrupt Mr Sachs. allowing the guest to respond fully.

Wise move on Morgan's part ... any interruption would have resulted in Jeff Sachs taking him to the cleaners.

Great, thank you for that. I watched it yesterday. Always refreshing to see sense being spoken so lucidly!

The loss of your contribution at work, is our gain in your writing. You really do write an excellent article, always.

It is astounding to see certain elements of MSM and political life freely placing entire nations at risk - including our own. The idea NATO could fight a war without official direct intervention in the almost entire absence of diplomacy shows how detached the Neo Con movement has become. These rich activists should answer for all the dodgy opaque deals that have been done as fighting rages between Russia and Ukraine.

Dodgy, opaque deals.... quite! One thing you can always be sure of is that people get stinking rich while others are bleeding out in some forgotten field.

The Robinsons and the rest of the columnists in the MSM hope that our memories are truly so deficient that we are unable to recall what happened ten years ago. I for one recall how in Spring 2014, after the Maidan and after the unspeakable massacre in Odessa, all Western/EU MSM suddenly, as if a switch had been pulled, stopped reporting on anything detrimental to Kiev. It was Putin all the way down, even the reports on investigations on what happened on the Maidan vanished, only to be found in AltMedia of which there weren't that many in 2014.

But yeah right: Farage is wrong and we must stand with plucky Kiev, never ask where all the money we gave really went and keep blaming Russia while somehow 'preparing' for WWIII ... Yeah. Right.

Gawd.

Reporting by omission! I noticed something similar today: in the Telegraph this morning there was not a mention of Reform or Farage on its front page. Perhaps they realised that the more they talk about how mad Nigel is for wanting to reduce immigration and such like, the more popular he becomes.

Instead we had the 'plan' to deal with illegal immigration presented by Ms Yvette Cooper. I couldn't refrain from reading it. I do wonder though if the HO mandarins will support her in her endeavours or if they will poke sticks into her nice shiny wheels. In either case, we'll get the answer as to who really rules this country ...

It's a bit depressing, though, that a lot of people still watch this stuff and believe it's true, unbiased journalism. I know a chap who says with great confidence and hatred that both Putin and Farage are Mad and No Better Than Hitler. He can't explain why he thinks this other than to say he watches the news on the BBC. I know a woman who believes very firming that Boris Johnson & Co held parties in No10 during all the covid crap because Posh Tories Believed Covid Wouldn't Affect Them Because They're Rich And Posh. Once people believe things they stop thinking about what and why they believe things. Which is why everyone believes Labour Will Win - it sort of becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy which is reinforced by twats like Nick Robinson.

It's peculiar, isn't it? I don't pretend to know everything but I cannot imagine accepting the words of proven liars and deceivers without a moment's hesitation. It reminds me of the type of person who 'thinks all politicians are bastards' but simultaneously wants the government to fix every problem and for them to have more power.

Some idiocies you cannot fix.

The woman I referred to is an old school Labourite, she thinks she's a socialist and class warrior. She hates Boris Johnson so much she can't even read his lightweight little book on London (a place she loves). However, she did absolutely everything Boris Johnson told her to for some two years without questioning any of it. Even though he's the very definition of a Posh Tory. I don't even try to say anything!!!
