I’ve been watching him for the last 18 months and been to two live performances in that time. He is hugely intelligent and articulate, takes the m key out of himself frequently and it is so much easier to convert people with humour than preaching. I haven’t hear anything he said lately with which I disagree. The Telegraph posted a hit piece on him a few months ago and I was amazed at the quantity of comments and how 95% were supportive of him. Who would have thought it?

Absolutely, could not agree more. Also, it doesn't shock me that the DT had a hit piece on him; what a sorry state that paper is in.

I think it has descended into click bait. The headlines are ridiculous now and I laugh when I see them

I’ve had exactly the same experience.

Yup, same here. If anything, I find him frustratingly balanced. He is very good at speaking to people who otherwise may be in opposing bubbles.

Mostly agreed, Frederick. There's just a small - probably cynical - bit of me which wonders whether Russell is part-grifter. If he hadn't monetized his channel so successfully I might be reassured.
